Agency on Aging ! Gave me no
Help!
A case number is all! I
Am
86 years and my hubby is 89!
I have been his only care giver for the last three years ! And we are both on walkers !
My health has started to go
Down hill!
No
Help what so
Ever!!
Very disappointed !

Call your Dr's office and tell them you need to speak to a social worker. They should be able to help you with resources to assist both of you.
If you or your husband are a veteran, call the nearest VA hospital and ask for a social worker. The VA offers caregiver help too.
Also, pallative care can be very helpful. You don't need to have a terminal illness to receive their help.
Hoping that you receive the help you need.

Call the Alzheimer’s association for info in your area. They are available to talk 24/7! They have given me comfort and guidance a couple times when i was feeling bleak. Also attending a ALZ support group will put you face to face with others who have all kinds of local recommendations for assistance.
