Hi I just want to say how much I admire people who do all of their own housework. All my adult life I gave worked full time outside the house and still liked painting wall papering sponge painting (remember that stupid idea from the 80's?) etc if the homes we lived in. And yes to daily housekeeping cooking etc too. I was young and energetic and my surrounding meant a lot to me as they do today. But with advancing age and mobility issues I am prepared to call it what it is. DRudgery! I cannot for the life of me find anything therapeutic or character building while cleaning. I still love the feeling of sitting back and seeing my house clean...I just can't do what us required to keep it looking that way. So the one comment about hiring a cleaning service seemed negative but I am wondering if anyone has had good luck with one. And if so was it a national cleaning service or someone local! Thanks.
