Advice for how to get over candida?

My doctor doesn't know anything about candida.The doctor I got at Cleaveland Clinic didn't either. I did buy a skin cream with miconazole 2% that helps the skin tags some. It is what is in my esophagus that is so bad.I have taken a lot of fluconazole up to 200 mg. I need more feedback and appreciate your advice.

Have you seen an infectious disease doctor at all? One that specifically deals with HIV/AIDS? They would be the most familiar with this. Nystatin has always been the go-to for me when "thrush" hits due to other medications.
