Hi, I am also considering HRT and I have one copy of Factor 5 Leiden.
I just read a published article. It recommends1) BHRT estrodiol patch and 2) oral capsule Utrogestan (micronized bioidentical progesterone). I can’t post the article link because of being a new member. You can search Factor 5 Leiden and HRT.

Yes, I am concerned about HRT in relation to Factor V Leiden. I have heard that the estradiol patch is possibly safe, but I'm not sure how accurate that is. I have Factor V and my doctor prescribed the estradiol patch, but I’m concerned about using it.
