Regarding Trazodone, it's hit or miss for me. Sometimes it helps me fall asleep and other nights it doesn't seem to work much. I think the cyclobenzaprine helps more but it's not something you are supposed to stay on for extended periods of time. That's why I alternate the two drugs. But some people have great results with Trazodone, so it's worth a try. The sleep effect is supposed to happen about 20 minutes after taking it, for best effect.

I wonder if your naturopath would increase your magnesium glycerinate to 300 mg? That is the dose that helps me the most, and it's within the RDA guidelines.

my naturopath did increase my mag to 400mg at bedtime. I had lorezepam for my tinnitus and vertigo it worked great but my new gp won't Give it to me. I only went thru 3 scripts a yr. It's not like I take it constantly. It's only. 5mg
