With fibromyalgia, is it “normal “ to feel sick all of the time?

Trying to come to terms with my diagnosis of fibromyalgia, but is it normal to feel sick all of the time? I’m trying all of the suggestions recommended by Mayo, but some days, it feels so debilitating.

Sorry to hear your news. When did it start. Did you start any new meds, changed your diet.
Take a good look at what is going on in your life.
For me I have to be careful for meds and foods that might contain milk or eggs. I get real sick if I take something with these two foods.
Keep a log of what you are eating and taking.
Wish you the best.

Before I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, I was in pain in every joint except my left ankle. I also had back issues that needed surgery. While taking care of my back and not being very active the fibromyalgia set in. After much pain and moving to a warmer climate, I went to a rheumatologist who then diagnosed me with fibromyalgia. I was also so depressed. He put me on an antidepressant. In order to prevent flares, I have to continue exercising and stretching everyday. Of course I back side some time and have to start over.
I am so sorry for anybody that has it. But you have to fight it. Do Not let it win!
