I had breast cancer 30 years ago and had the same sleep issues after HRT therapy. It left me with fibromyalgia and sleepless nights. I tried all the prescriptions they gave me. Only clonazapam has worked for me. Is it worth it to “try” all those “natural “ remedies and still only (maybe) get 6 hour sleep? That sounds like a LOT to be taking.

Regarding Trazodone, it's hit or miss for me. Sometimes it helps me fall asleep and other nights it doesn't seem to work much. I think the cyclobenzaprine helps more but it's not something you are supposed to stay on for extended periods of time. That's why I alternate the two drugs. But some people have great results with Trazodone, so it's worth a try. The sleep effect is supposed to happen about 20 minutes after taking it, for best effect.

I wonder if your naturopath would increase your magnesium glycerinate to 300 mg? That is the dose that helps me the most, and it's within the RDA guidelines.

I like the Minny Grown Hibernate sleep gummies, They have a BOGO sale ending after today with the code MNSNOWDAY.

I've been taking Trazadone for 13 yrs now and it still works great. I've tried Ambien and It didn't work at all for me. The only thing I've noticed is Trazadone make me hungry.
