You can take any amount of clicks on the pen you want. I have all my unused
Tymlos pens in my refrigerator. I am taking Forteo now, because my endo
thought that a whole dose of Forteo was better than a half dose of Tymlos.
If I don't see any improvement on my next REMS test, I will probably go
back to a half dose of Tymlos. If you decide to take a partial dose, make
sure that you keep the pen in the refrigerator. I think it lasts 30 days
out of the refrigerator. Once I tried to get 2 months out of one pen. I
think that the medicine does get weaker with time, because I got the side
effects back with the next pen. It probably lasts about 45 days taking a
half dose when kept refrigerated. I had to keep getting new pens
every month even though I didn't need them, because my Tymlos was only
approved for 2 years.
