They did an antibiotic sensitivity test, They were able to identify a few antibiotics that were sensitive to the bacteria. based on those test results they are treating my UTI with a combination of IV and oral antibiotics(Nitrofurantoin capsule (++++) and Meropenem through IV(++),+ sign reflecting sensitivity), However, my condition is not improving, It decreased my pus but that burning sensation and pain are still there mostly in the bladder. Docs are saying because it is severe, healing will take time. But I am not feeling any relief, it has been more than 3 days. I will ask them for a cytology examination if they can.
