I suspect you will see everything from 35-95. It’s obviously more common in men over 50. I will be 75 in 15 days. I was diagnosed with PC in October 2024. RALP December 30 , 2024 pSA was 13 .
8 of 14 cores detected. I am 8 weeks since surgery. Still doing Kegel exercises , getting better slowly. Currently not on any medications for anything. Going in for follow up later this month.
I am 68. Gleason 8 (3+4) on Feb 24. Nuclear medicine bone scan (Feb 20) and CT scan of pelvis & abdomen (Feb 28) found no metastatic disease. I am waiting for the schedule of my prostatectomy.
I'm 63 years and had my prostate removed. I had my caterter taken out and on the mend. They also had to scrap my bladder. I now just have to keep and I on my bladder. Have next appt to talk about my results. One day at a time.
I. Gleason 7 (3+4), I meant to say.
II. @bostonbruins, I'm happy to hear that you are on the mend after surgery. Best,
WOW! That is great to hear that a urologist is actually following recommended guidelines and NOT doing surgery on a 78 yr old man; will wonders never cease?.
With only 2 cores of 23 of Gleason intermediate grade that’s good news. Best of luck,
Phil
