My mum had a left knee replacement June 2024. Although the knee operation went ok, there were complications with mum ending in in ICU and then on a ward for 14 days. Recovery has been long and mum is walking worse than before the knee replacement. She cannot feel her left foot making walking very difficult. She has lost her confidence as she has no control over her foot. We are 8 months on and wondered if anyone else has suffered this or know of anyone who has suffered this and also is there a cure. All mum wants is a bit more mobility.

What were the complications from the knee replacement? If it was an infection or she required more surgery she could have neuropathy in her foot. 🤷🏼

@shazzajsyl1970 - has your mother's surgeon provided any potential causes or solutions for the numbness?
