I've never been to a GI doctor, the ER sent me to a gyno. since the pain started down there. They did a CT scan and sonogram and that was it! I asked them to do more and they said that's all they thought that would show anything. It's an on-and-off pain, sometimes pain is abdominal, and sometimes it's a sharp pain in the hip area.
