4 autoimmune diseases, asthma, essential tremor, GERD,
Two years ago I moved out west with 1 known genetic disease, 2 autoimmune diseases, tremor in 1 hand, deaf in 1 ear, hearing loss in other ear, GERD, allergies to outdoors, adhesive and many prescription meds, osteoporosis, arthritis & fatty liver disease. In 2021 I fainted & fractured my 1st lumbar vertebrae. Diagnosed with second genetic disease, 2 additional autoimmune diseases, asthma, essential tremor in both hands, asthma and 1 knee has to be drained periodically and injected with cortisone since relocating. My outdoor allergies are horrible. My sciatica has been painful for the last year. I am afraid to try new medications.

Hi,
I have a similar problem taking medications and adhesives. My point of view has always been if I don't try the medication how would I know if it could work with me. I'll give anything a chance as there is always hope it might help me.
I have been trialed on every known oral diabetes T2 medication and reacted to them all, I still am trying to solve the problem now, currently with reactions to insulin. I have the same issue with Blood pressure medications and many other medications. None of it will stop me trying while there is always hope.
I'm sorry to say not to try is cutting off your nose to spite your face. Don't be affraid you might get lucky with one medication, isn't that worth the attempt?
Cheers
Thank you for your encouragement!
Hi,
You are more than welcome. I have taken medication that has knocked me out every time taken (for diabetes). It was not a recognised side effect but none the less it stopped when I stopped taking them. The minute I feel there is something wrong I stop all new medication until I can figure it out. Usually I research the side effects of any medication now before I sample them. Gives me a heads up on what I might expect or to look out for. Dosen't always work though as I seem to react to most anything I'm medicated with in ways that are not "common side effects". You have to realize that medicine is not an exact science, we can each react differently, it is a generalised assumption on how each one works. No one so far has been able to answer why the effects stop when the medication is stopped. With both my sisters experiencing similar effects, to a lessor degee, from medication at least I'm safe not believing it is me being anti drugs. I don't like being medicated but I have to try just in case one slips by with positive results.
Good luck.
Cheers
Anyone tried MDSO for Raynaud's?
