Yesterday, I ate a piece of very sweet key lime pie & within minutes my feet were in agony & I could barely walk. My wife suggested I drink a lot of water so I drank 2 liters in the early afternoon & another liter in the early evening plus a 1/2 liter of Perrier with dinner. After dinner I was relieved of almost all of the discomfort, still a bit numb of course, but not bad. I woke up this morning & my feet feel better still.
There’s a lesson here for all of us - stay hydrated!

2 ReactionsOMG! You are dealing with a lot. I been through and tried everything you listed and nothing worked at all. Right now in the a.m. I take Duloxetine Pregabalin R Ala Lipoic
Acid Triamterene HCTZ and one Tramadol. Once they kick in I start feeling good then take 1 Tramadol around 4 and feel good for the rest
It does give u a little euphoria but I’d rather have that than home bound with pain. No way could I take that many TRAMADOL
Would not be able to function. Good luck to you-keep experimenting until you find what works for you!!
FDA PPROVES JOURNAVX AS OF MARCH 2025 NON OPOID PAIN MEDICINE FIRST NON OPOID PAIN MEDICINE IN YEARS
I have had ideopathic neuropathy for over 30 years. Pain is minimal and occasional, therefore pain relief is not my issue. However tingling and balance is a major issue. I wear support hose and have found Frankinsence amd Myrrh balm helpful for the tingling and venous insufficiency. I also take Nerve Renew and Nitric Oxide booster. I ran out of it a few months ago and noticed a real difference in how my legs felt during that period. Also inject Vitamin B12 monthly. I have had physical therapy for balance issues and use a rolling walker for stability. I purchased some Hike "earth shoes" and will give them a try.
I have had neighbors problems for many years. When I was first diagnosed about 5;years ago they had no treatment. I started taking Juice Plus products that are organic concentrations of fruits and vegetables. I continued takiing the one that is filled with berries. They have helped considerably with the numbness. I started taking 2 a day and I now take 5-6 a day. Just a few days ago I added another supplement from Stonehenge Health. It is helping to increase the feelings in my feet and legs. I haven't had pain from my neuropathy. My brother has both legs and feet numb. He is not treating it. The se products that I am taking would not cost nearly as much as what you are paying. I don't sell the Juice Plus products. I can give you information on the person who helps me. She is very knowledgeable
On the products. Best wishes.

I see that some of you are working with a pain management clinic and wondering if they every talked about Lyrica? I have been on it for over 1 yr. and yes, some people do experience side effects but the only one that I am sure about is weight gain. I think it is specifically to treat nerve pain so unlike tramadol, etc. this wouldn't work for a broken bone type pain. I am interested to know if you have heard about Lyrica or tried it. Thanks.
