I have stage 3aCKD and a number of other issues but not diabetes. I am on the second lowest dose-5. Of zepbound. Been taking since October. I have lost at least 25 lbs. my egfr just hit 73! ITS USUALLY 50s. All other labs were normal and many have improved.
I’m insurance wont pay so i am. Its very expensive. I am hoping that the FDC starts approving these drugs for more issues like CKD.
So not 3b but 3 a.

I just saw a clip re zepbound stating that Eli Lilly has basically cut the cost in half, from approximately $1000 a month to $500. I'm interested in whether the administrators have heard of this egfr improvement from other sources who are on this med.

My experience with Lily Direct.
Great price. Super efficient.
I have been on since October. 1st 2.5. Then 5.
I finally decided to move up to the next level but it turns out that 6 is their limit. To go beyond, your dr has to set you up with a pharmacy. The price doubles.
I have managed to lose 1 to 1 1/2 lbs a month. Perfect for me. I think i have plateaued but will continue on 5 bec of the cost.
