We have a rise we bought for our bed when we got a new mattress. It has a remote. You can raise the bottom of your bed, too, if you need to elevate your feet. They are really nice.

You can put blocks under front legs of bed to raise 6 inches. If your bed has wood slats you can add additional slats on top of each other to raise head of bed 6 inches. There are also triangular wedge foam pillows sold online that will raise your upper body. Also don’t sleep on your right side.

I bought a set of heavy duty 3" stackable bed risers online. I put 2 each (6" rise) under the legs at the head of the bed. To install them I wrestled the mattress off the bed then tipped off the box springs. I put the risers under the legs of the bed frame at the head of the bed, then put it all back together. You might need help with the mattress, it's the hardest part. With a helper you could tip the mattress off one side & the box springs (usually much lighter) off the other, then install the risers.
