zytiga and lupron after radiation treatment complete
I am on several heart meds for my atrial fibrilation, the side effects of zytiga and metprolol exhaserbate my dizziness, fatigue and muscle aches. Is it safe to stop the zytiga and lupron? I am so sick from this and need either a substitute for zytiga (aberaterone) or just quit it.

I was on Zytiga for 2 1/2 years. In all that time, my PSA was only undetectable one month, But it did keep it low, even though it bounced around a lot.
I had three AFib events while on Zytiga. The third one lasted for four days with my pulse over 125 laying down, 175 standing. I am on Pradaxa for a blood thinner so that probably prevented me from getting a stroke. It lasted that long because my PCP had me taken antibiotic that causes electrical problems with heart, and they could not cardiovert me until that drug had left my system, which takes four days
Zyriga also gave me high blood pressure, something I never had before. I’m now on three medication’s for high blood pressure due to it.
After that hospital event, my oncologist immediately pulled me off Zytiga And let me start taking Darolutamide.
It’s now 17 months after taking darolutamide My blood pressure is much lower, And my PSA has been undetectable for the last 15 months.
You could talk to your doctor about switching drugs. Darolutamide Has many fewer side effects than Enzalutamide or apalutamide.
I still stayed on Lupron and then Orgovyx. They were not causing the problem with my heart.
Thanks I will look into the drug you switched to from zytiga. And talk more
to you about my condition
