My Endo Dr, an Osteoporosis specialist, mapped out a follow-up drug schedule for me after I finished Evenity. Her plan was to take Prolia for 1 year then follow-up with Evenity! I was quite surprised at that. After a lot of research and posting here, I refused the Prolia and decided on Reclast. Like a lot of us, we've read and been told that it's imperative to follow Prolia with a Bisphosonate. From the literature that was all over my Dr's office, it looks like Amgen is pushing (?) this drug sequence. I have read that taking the Prolia for a very short time, 1 year, that there is not the worry about the rebound fractures. Who knows! I did not want to take that chance.
