It took 2 weeks before my hair started falling out. Actually it more seemed to break off. Slightly painful. Grows back quickly tho and mine came back curly. Eyebrows never fell out.

It depends on the agent. some agents don't make your hair fall out. Mine did after a few doses and it was painful as was suensteve's. I cut mine very short when it started falling out and it was then it wasn't painful anymore. It did grow back quickly. Don't get sunburned on that beautiful scalp of yours. Best of luck on your journey. I'm pulling for you.

Some chemo cocktails will cause hair loss, some won't. Ask your oncologist if the particular treatment you'll receive will cause hair loss. I didn't lose mine taking a Folfox 5 cocktail.

My husband thought he would lose his so we took professional family photos before he started treatment. He is over a year in, has chemo every other week for 2 days (over 30 treatments now) and still has his hair.
