“Is it safe to put raw garlic in olive oil?
It is safe to submerge peeled garlic cloves in oil and store them in the freezer for several months. However, do not store garlic in oil at room temperature. Garlic-in-oil mixtures stored at room temperature provide perfect conditions for producing botulism.”
I think it is ok for a couple weeks…
