My Gabapentin is 300 mg x 3 times per day. I didn't know about the anxiety part but sometimes, the more the merrier.

I'm 'self-de-medicating' at the moment and my doctors were supportive of that. I now take Tamsulosin only once per day for the last couple of weeks and I'll try to stop it completely very soon. When I get the courage I'll reduce the Oxybutynin. Next week I plan to cut back on the Gabapentin and see what happens.

I can tell that one of these will mess me up if I keep taking it for a long time and I suspect it's the Gabapentin. My nerves feel like there a low voltage passing through them at all times and when I lie down in bed the voltage spikes up for a few minutes.

I take 600 mg of gabapentin three times a day. I’ve done so for at least four or five years. I take it because I have osteoarthritis and it stops my joints from bothering me much.. I have tapered down to 200mg a couple of times in the last two years, but my joints didn’t like it.

I’ve never noticed any mood management, after all these years, but then I have very little anxiety about prostate cancer.
