Started following the post, we are in the UK. My brother had an AVM and consequently ended up having a stroke where he lost complete use of his left arm- it seems contracted and also left leg weakness. He uses a stick but is very slow. Here in the UK, we are struggling to find Cerebrolysin, and possibly one clinic is claiming to have it but we are unsure if it will help. In the past due to odema swelling on the brain, he was given Avastin- and when he was on that IV drip, his arm would relax and soften, so we feel its likely it is as you said hibernating and needs waking up.
How are you getting on your recivery journey, has anuthing else made a significant difference? You mentioned a treatment shit in Florida, did you go for it?
