My myopic degenerative disease in my left eye, which also had a stroke is gradually getting worse. Now I’m getting injections almost every month. The eye itself got a little bit better where I have some vision, but there’s so much scarring on there. It will never come. Scelaro lenses have helped helped But just a little. No I have degenerative disease in my good eye at 73. I can only hope and pray that I’ll have some vision until the end.

I have FMD also. The risks and anxiety are real. I had 3 strokes at 45. When will Mayo start an FMD support group? Thanks!

Slightly unsteady, sometimes slips when I walk fast, had worse problems in August.
Thanks for the question, since January I have had hot flashes at night, pain problems, a slight fever sometimes, daily pain on the left side of the neck from shoulder to ear, icy cold hands and one leg sometimes but daily, eye pain, increased headaches and the worst nausea around the clock.

My vertigo has been unchanged for a year, if I close my eyes I can't walk, always slightly unsteady, always looking at the ground, still walking fast but prepared to stop.
I have changed doctors for the 3rd time in 2 years that I feel safe with, the only time in a year that someone has examined me and taken blood tests other than in the emergency room. I am waiting for an abdominal ultrasound for suspected abdominal aortic aneurysm and have a liver inflammation.
