Hi, @pete555947 - I wanted to check in with you and see how things are going after your October stroke? How is your walking?

I also wanted to see if you found and took cerebrolysin? If so, how did it go?

I have not tried cerebrolysin in. My walking is about the same as it has been and I still have pretty good balance and haven't fallen even after taking three cruises last year including one to Antarctica and going through the Drake passage.
I came across a doctor in Florida that offers a treatment for stroke named doctor Tobinick. Google his name and watch some all the videos that are available including the 1 from 60 minutes Australia. I'm scheduled to have this shot in March and hope for improvement. From what I understand the only downside is that it doesn't do anything to improve my condition which only happens to about 20% of his patients and he's treated thousands. If ones impairment is caused by permanent brain damage it won't help but if it is caused by inflammation and some brain cells have gone into hibernation it wakes them up. Some of the results that he has obtained for his patients have been nothing short of miraculous.
