I have a prolapsed bladder after two surgeries and it is causing urinary tract infection that is not responding to antibiotics. It has been 4 weeks of various courses of vaginal and oral drugs. I have an appointment on Mar 4 with urigynecologist and need to know what to do till I can see her. I am so very uncomfortable and have a constant urge to urinate and pressure.

Have you tried drinking 100% Cranberry juice-no sugar added, not the "Ocean Spray" type but the health food type with absolutely no added sugar or sugar substitute. It can possibly help with the urging and pressure! If caught early enough, it has helped me in the past to ward off a UTI. I have had a prolapsed bladder for about 10 years now, but chose to use a pessary rather than have the surgery, and it has worked well for me. I'm 71.
