Evenity Contraindications for Cardiac Issues
Does anyone know whether Evenity is still contraindicated for people with cardiac issues? I know initially it was deemed a risk, but I either heard or read about a year ago that that had changed. If anyone has or knows where to find recent info, I'd appreciate hearing about it.

Thanks so much!!! I'm pretty sure I'm going to choose Evenity, also - I love hearing your experience with it.
Warm regards and all good things...

Could you specify the side effects of Reclass? Thank you!
Hi. Yes, I shared my specific side effects on the discussion thread “Bone Pain for Months after Reclast infusion.”

Hi @nemorose,
Here is the warning from the Evenity label:
"EVENITY may increase the risk of myocardial infarction, stroke, and cardiovascular death [see Warnings and Precautions (5.1)]. EVENITY should not be initiated in patients who have had a myocardial infarction or stroke within the preceding year. Consider whether the benefits outweigh the risks in patients with other cardiovascular risk factors. If a patient experiences a myocardial infarction or stroke during therapy, EVENITY should be discontinued. "
This warning indicates the elevated cardiovascular risks are for those who have recently experienced one the above-mentioned episodes. This is something you will want to discuss with your provider that prescribed Evenity.
I combined your discussion with an existing discussion, titled:

Here, many members have discussed this warning and concerns about who may be effected by this warning.
