I feel deeply guilty about the fact I(apparently) have been dodging bullets of symptoms almost all men suffer , since I woke up from the surgery. Again, my doctor was impeccable fellowship trained, and is considered one of the most gentle hands in the medical profession Maybe my age helped as per my Dr. (51) , and I stopped drinking (4 years ago)and cigarettes( mid ‘24). I drank a lot of Gatorade for electrolytes prior to the surgery and after. I was given antibiotics during surgery, but not after and I have so far remained infection free
