Been over a month of yellow-green mucus/snot from nose usually accompanied by blood, and yellow-brown post-nasal drip. Recently improved slightly in terms of reduced amount (especially blood) since using a humidifier and Ayr gel. But still very much yellow-green and small amounts of red. No other symptoms besides (both intermittent) runniness, feeling of nasal blockage, or (occasional) subtle burning sensation which I suspect is inflammation/irritation related to the bleeding. Still seems like dryness, right? Not sure when/if to see an ENT.

My husband has been diagnosed with melanoma in his right sinus. Bleeding was the symptom that led him to see an ENT. You should see an ENT immediately. Cancer in the sinus area is extremely rare but it does happen. Good luck.

I had similar infection for two and 1/2 months partly due to my allergist who kept me on doxycycline for 3 (10) day prescribed treatments. It wasn’t eliminating it until switching to z-pack. Anyway, he did prescribe Azelastine HCI 1x/day which is a nasal spray and so fabulous for eliminating congestion, runny nose and drainage. Also, consider it could be allergies too. Mine is dust mites and washing my sheets in very hot water once a week is also helping.
