I was declined for a transplant 3x in Dallas in less than 3 months. I've an underlying condition that places me at a higher risk. The second of the three hospitals didn't even bother to meet with me. Instead they just sent a letter saying they weren't going to consider me.

I'm currently undergoing evaluation at Mayo Phoenix and things are looking much more positive. I'll be returning in two weeks for more testing. The selection committee will be meeting mid to late March to determine if I'm approved. I've been on PD since August 2022.
