Hi Colleen,
The Minoxidal is a pill 2.5mg. The Cancer pharmacist had approved of its use a few months ago. I still hesitated to start it and that is why I made that inquiry on this site. I have been taking Anastrozole for about a year. I have been doing well on it so far. Just last week I decided after some further research to take a half a pill of the Minoxidal per day, (1.25mg) . The Dermatologist with the focus on hair loss that prescribed it said I would start to see results in about 3 mos. So , not long after that I will have some follow-up CT scan to check my metastatic statis.

You could try topical Minoxidil. It may affect you less than taking a pill. My oncologist prescribed it after being on Exemestane and I experienced hair thinning. It is working pretty well.
