In 2022 I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastic Melanoma. I underwent Immumotherapy with Yervoy and Opdivo. Today I have been in remission for over a year. Very thankful! But, it has been determined that I have Adrenal Insufficiency and will be on Hydrocortisone pills for the rest of my life. In less than a year I have gained over 50 pounds. I continue to work full time in a management job but I get severely fatigued easily. My endocrinologist says he will not lower my steroids because of yhe weight gain. I have questioned all of my drs about my weight but no one suggests anything on how I can combat it. I have extreme bone pain in my neck, shoulders, lower back and knees. Lupus & R.A. have been ruled out by a Reumatologist. Is there any hope out there for me?

@choctawgirl61 wish I could. I see nothing here.

I have no clue if it’s Addison’s or sai. Had mri, my sella is empty and pituitary is flat. From reading, it’s rare Going for more testing. 3 rd endo. I asked too many questions so was dismissed. At a loss. Same with you. Hope you have found a reason. Weight is piling on, no carbs. Maybe I should!! Maybe we should.
