Hi @jjentges. Hopefully this will make sense as harder time typing etc🙃 Some of my symptoms definitely appear to be related to foods I eat now. Histamine levels are different in different foods and certain foods/spices can cause reactions. A low histamine diet with researching spices you use or are ingredients in things you eat my suggestion. Eating cinnamon, still need to test ceylon ok😛, or kiwi a couple of examples for my instant reactions🙃. I too love spicy food and managing to find alternatives with the help of mast cell 360 support group and keeping lists of only very low histamine items I can eat helps in creating meal options so I dont get discouraged. Also can be very confusing at first as some foods are also histamine liberators and online sources lists can contradict each other🙃 Hopefully your healthcare system can provide a nutritionist trained in this area for
you🤞 Hope this made sense🌈

Hi @jjentges. Forgot to verify for you that the few drops olive oil in water I drink to soothe/heal skin which in turn seemed to help my scalp/hair as well. Suggestion be cautious adjusting diet for its extra calories if you have fluctuating weight now like so many of us 🙃

Hi @law59 I want to thank you so much for replying to my original post. You were so so right that it is a histamine problem, and had you not made me aware I would still suffering . I had gone to 2 doctors, a dermatologist and never did they mention anything about histamines. I am very cautious of what I eat now, no beer…no spicy food… which seems to be the worst. A few other items but with an antihistamine it clears up pretty fast. Still my hair is a concern. I did have a question.. did you take any DAO’s or other blockers. We will be traveling for a month and I am a bit concerned not having my controlled home cook meals may be difficult. Again thank you so so much that you replied to my initial post. I consider you a life saver. Hope you are doing well.
