I have this exact same issue. My CVST was diagnosed Sept 2024. On Eliquis. MRV in December shows clot improving but not gone. The ear thing started a few weeks ago. It’s not getting worse but not really getting better either. Do you have any update on your condition?

@stevec99 This "drum" beating in my ear is as loud as ever! I saw a new Hematologist on Friday that told me she felt like mine was related to my anemia. This was pre lab work. She said that my last D-dimer was normal, and that is what she goes by in regards to clots. I told her that my Neuro stated it was being caused by the recanalization of the clot. Which did seem to make sense. She said that perhaps there is scar tissue there. In any case, we do the blood work, and guess what?? I'm no longer anemic! So I feel like that theory is out the window. My D-dimer was normal though. And that is indeed what detects clots. It was sky high when they first found it. I don't know. I have yet to actually talk to her and discuss my results. She may be waiting for the repeat labs next month. I'm getting a hysterectomy on Monday, so we want to see where that ends up putting me in regards to iron. I may need an infusion. But this heartbeat in my ear is going to drive me crazy. There has to be something to it. It's not just doing that for nothing.
