After transplant I have hair loss due to meds: Will it come back?

I am 4 months post kidney transplant and suffering hair loss. One of the many side effects of tacrolimus. I am told by my transplant team that nothing can be done and it should stop at some point 🙄

I am 6 months post transplant and have had severe hair loss since transplant. I am taking biotin every day and a ‘just in case it works’ shampoo I saw online. The transplant nurse told me that it may be a year before I stop losing my hair. I do lately see a small improvement in that I am losing less when I shampoo but no new growth yet.
