Also, if you go to the top of the page and do two searches you will be able to pull up threads and read other Connect members' experiences. Just type in FHH, and then press Enter for one search. There are just a few threads, not many. For the second search, type in hyperparathyroidism, and press Enter. There's a wide array of threads on that subject.

FHH is very rare and if no one in your family history has it I doubt you would. They told my wife to get tested for that sat a cost of $5k and we said no and they flew to Tampa Florida Norman Parathyroid hospital. They removed 3 of her parathyroid glands that were bad. It was not FHH! If you have a family history of it then maybe but if you never heard of it I’d say no.
