Same in my case, for a year I wear only Adidas slippers, barefoot at home, with socks outdoors around my building, harder and harder to use public transportation, stay at work and endure 9 hours out of home. My feet neuropathy has worsened after cervical spinal cord fusion surgery two months ago, attacks of 10/10 pain happen earlier in a day and last longer, attacks accompanied by sharp anxiety pain in the abdomen and groin area that linger....I'm very desperate, and will be forced to retire soon....fearful to get completely disabled! I'm 59 and wished to enjoy my pension, but this seems will not happen...

Just an fyi it took me three years to get on social security disability. Denied twice and had to go before a judge. Hired an attorney. Here’s my diagnosis seizures, migraines, autoimmune severe axonal sensorimotor poly Peripheral neuropathy, small fiber neuropathy, dysautonomia, and asthma. Four left hip replacements along with actebulum fracture due to lack of blood flow to my joints. Motor neuropathy causes severe tremors in the hand and legs. I can’t feel my feet or legs, and I have cut my fingers so any times while cooking because I could not feel them look down and they were bleeding. I almost lost my foot due to an ulcer on my foot. I had to have antibiotics. All this and I had to go to court. The judge agreed that I was disabled and qualified. This was crazy. I walk with two canes that wrap around my arms and can’t dress myself. So frustrating. All this because SSID accused me of faking it. The judge looked at me and asked SSID how could I be faking it with all the documentation that I had. Some people have an easy time but in Texas I had a hard time.

I bought the random THC tincture recently, it could be sativa, a party drug....a small dose of 1.25 mg made me very anxious and paranoid, numbed the pain in the feet, but promoted unpleasant tingling badly...very uncomfortable!

My neurologist and pain management doctor told me to use indica. Stopped the pain and slept like a baby. The next morning I actually ate instead of playing with my food. My husband has not seen me eat like that again. I took 10 mgs thc. I took gummies.. no pain, no waking up at 2:30 in the morning. The pain did not start again until 4 pm the next day.

Just an update. I recently was in Las Vegas & returned with some very good gummies that just lighten my mood & my neuropathy. However, I believe that I have found the most relief from my Barefoot Footware which has helped my strength & balance incredibly. Along with LDN_low dose naltrexone, for pain plus 100mg of Lyrica daily and regular exercise & PT….I’m 😀Ok!

My husband has terrible neuropathy in his feet although the pain management doctor calls it radiculopathy as a result of failed spine surgery. Whatever it’s called, the pain is the same. He has tried medical marijuana, but all it did was make him sleepy in addition to the medicines he is on. The only time his feet don’t burn is when he goes to bed. Has anyone used a kind of marijuana that helps the pain but does not make you drowsy?

I take 4.5 of LDN daily for almost a year. No pain in my feet - just numbness. Also, Barefoot Shoes have made a huge difference for balance & strength, as well.

THC relaxes my mind & helps me forget the pain but it doesn’t cure it. Indica is a bit more relaxing but the are many strains & they all give a different reaction.

Like others, I am really interested in strains of marijuana that people have found successful in reducing the burning pain I have in my legs and feet. I've been told that Indica is better for sleeping but Sativa is best for staying awake. I've tried lots of 2.5 - 5.0 mg of Sativa brands, but find I get wobbly in my balance and can't say it reduces the pain. Suggestions of your own experience would be so helpful!!! Thanks so much.

I have PN and I use marijuana for the symptoms. I have started to grow my own marijuana so I know what exactly is in the buds.

I also take 2700 mg of Gabapentin but I am going to ween off of this pharmaceutical and try a supplement called Stonehenge Dynamic Nerve. It should arrive on Saturday, so we will see...

I also take Cat's Claw supplements, a vine from the Amazon used for centuries to sooth arthritis.

Cheers,
Jill

Interesting about the two supplements. Have you taken them yet? If so would you let me know the results. I hesitate using something unknown. I have used everything under the sun, but the best results tends to come from marijuana.
