I was tested positive about seven months after kidney transplant. My creatinine was stable when BK virus appeared. I was on Cellcept back then. My doctor lowered the dosage. However, BK was still present. He discontinued it completely and switched me to Myfortic. It took a few weeks when I was tested negative for BK. So far it have been good since then.
