I had my gastric sleeve surgery 7 weeks ago and it’s been a nightmare as I can’t eat anything beyond very light soups etc without throwing up! I’m so weak and in fact traumatised due to constant vomiting when I try to eat something of substance like lean protein etc.My consultant confirms there’s a complication with a portion of the sleeve being too narrow. I’m down for a two-tier distended op! My goodness, I’m just so tired and in pain all over due to lack of movement! Has any had this type of experience?

Welcome to Mayo Connect, sounds like your going through a very rough time.
Not familiar with two-tier distended op, is that surgery to correct the narrow area?

I have read that sometimes they can do endoscopic dilation, it is a procedure that uses a balloon or other device to stretch a narrowed area in the gastrointestinal (GI) tract. It's used to treat blockages caused by inflammation, scar tissue, or other conditions.

Have they done labs to make sure you are not anemic from lack of food?
Do you have follow up surgery or something scheduled to correct?

Talk to a dietitian about getting a high calorie meal replacement shake. They can be added to tradition diets and easily soups
