I have peripheral polyneuropathy which is worse than having a baby. At least you can recover from that. I am on an opiod, an anti-depressant, a muscle spasm and an anti- inflammatory script. It is progressing to the point that the burning, buzzing, and numbing sensation has traveled from my toes to my knees so far. It makes it very difficult to walk since along with it, my toes have curled under. These meds help a little with the pain but sedation is a huge side effect. I asked my Pain Management Doctor if I could try medical marijuana. I was told that I could try it but PM will no longer allow me to be a part of this program if I do. I saw a poster in their office that show a new topical medication procedure for PN but you have to have diabetic PN to be able to have this procedure. I do not have diabetes. What the heck? It's still the same pain!

I have used medical marijuana as a topical on my feet. It seems to work for me especially at night. I only use topical. Not sure if you live in a state where medical marijuana is legal. It is in Florida where medical marijuana is legal. Good luck
