I am about to start treatment for MAIC next weekend, am wanting to pick a good probiotic. ( I already do activia yogurt daily)

Well, I have made it through day one! Other than a very tiny bit of nausea after Azithromycin and ethambutol this am, I’ve been pretty good. If you can say lying around waiting for a reaction good haha.
After taking Rifampin at 9 this evening, I thought I was feeling a bit off but it was just my hot flipping nightmarish flashes coming on. (Normally I’m not just sitting about waiting to see how I feel. I’m either working still or hanging with my hubby watching a show or chatting or something.)
Fingers crossed this pattern of taking pills works. I assume the nap I normally never take midday was because the treatment has finally started and all the stress was just being released? Cause I sure was tired haha.

Hi, I'm glad that things went well the first day. Hope it continues. I was diagnosed with MAC 2 years ago but haven't started the meds yet. Doing a watch and wait. However, I have seen so many positive comments on here about taking the Big 3 that I will face that day with courage and a positive attitude. Keep us posted on how you're doing.
