I have been told repeatedly by a number of specialists that HRT helps maintain bone but is not a potent bone builder. Also, anyone with cardiac issues who is 10 years past menopause needs to consider clotting and stroke risk. I'm not against HRT -- I'd like to use anything that would help build my bones. But I have severe osteoporosis, and HRT ain't gonna fix that.

you mean it can't reverse damage but it might stop further damage.

My doc will not give me HRT due to age and timing way past menopause unfortunately. We all need better choices but market is limited without enough attention to women’s needs!
