I happened to recall that I was told by my ophthalmologist to do eye scrubs which is gentle cleansing of the eyelids with baby shampoo or an over the counter eyelid cleanser. Bacteria can grow there and this is supposed to address it, I don’t do it often enough, but I plan to get some cleansing wipes soon.

I wash my eyelids every time I wash my face and when I shower. I think this is a good practice. Every night, before bed, I give both eyes a squirt of OCuSoft HypoChlor Hypochlorous Acid Solution, followed by Systane Ultra lubricating drops. This seems to help as well and was recommended by my doctor.
