I took my first dose of AREDS2 and experienced vertigo as well, the next morning. The evening of my first dose I felt like I was coming down with a fever. Chills but no fever but did have a lot of trouble sleeping, strange dreams. It was the only addition to my regular drug regimen. I’ll contact my ophthalmologist to discuss another option.

My apologies. The vitamin I took was Ocuvite which caused all the side effects. The ophthalmologist office called me and confirmed the possibility of side effects I was experiencing. I’m now on Preservision AREDS2, no side effects. I’ll stay on them for this coming year, until I see the doc again to see if my AMD has stabilized.
