Revisit for treatment

My Wife had a congenital heart surgery back in 2012 at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Lately she has been complaining about the same symptoms that she had before the surgery. How do I go about having her checked out to make sure there are no issues. We live in Jacksonville, FL so would prefer to go to that location if possible.

Chris , @auntieoakley, pointed you in right direction, but returning visitors get directed to portal, Cannot remember if patient portal was around in 2012. Your wifes records will still be in system. I suggest you call the Central Appointment Office 904-953-0853 , 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to talk to someone about returning. You can also ask your primary to refer you to Mayo. You may have to recheck if your current insurance is still accepted by Mayo in Jacksonville. Lot has changed since 2012.

Hope you find an answer.

I see the mentors and monitors have already provided you with information.

I have been a Mayo Jacksonville since 2006.

If you went to Mayo Rocshester could not the doctors you saw there refer her to Mayo Jacksonville? I know my Mayo urologist suggested I see a Rocheser urologist that he could referme to regarding a special procedure done only by a doctor there.

Your PCP could also referr you. On Mayo's web site it has information on requesting appointments. If me, I would call Rochester Mayo and see if they will referr your wife to Mayo Jacksonviille. Would be easy or Mayo Jacksonville to access Mayo Rochester health information.

I don't know when portal came on but I think I have been using is for over 10 years. It is a great asset. I have both UFHPTI and Mayo Jacksonville incorported in my Mayo portal. Why? I have had all my medical treatments at Mayo Jacksonville with exception of proton radiation treatment at UFHPTI. So UFHPTI can see my medical tests and follow ups and Mayo Jacksonville can see my UFHPTI follow ups.
