Agreed, it can be an addiction too! Do we have a group for weight loss? I would like to talk to people who have tried or want to try the glp shots. I want/need to but afraid.

Mayo Connect does have weight loss group, do not be fooled by name, it is not just for surgery options of weight loss, many discussion on weight loss drugs.

I have been on Ozempic for a year and a half. I did lose 40 lbs mainly in the beginning (the first 6 months or so). I have 40 to go at least. My blood sugar is much better. I went on it because my a1c was just over and I also wanted to try it for weight loss. Overall it has been successful for me and I would say try it. Unfortunately for me, I feel like my body has gotten used to it and it's not helping for weight loss. I am trying to work harder at it but I feel hungry all the time.
