Hi,
I get severe bloating with acute pain throughout the abdominal region. I find it difficult to bend at the waist and resort to slouching rather than trying to sit. An acidic feeling in the stomach with reflux that strips the lips of the top layers of skin. Just before the reflux my mouth gets quite sticky like chewing glue and the spital thickens, this is usually the first sign I'm heading into SIBO. We have never been able to treat the symptoms successfully and had to attack the cause head on deploying antibiotics and a diet that helps eliminate food feeding the SIBO. Like grains, peas, cabbage, anything that promotes gas. I keep a course of antibiotics on hand so I can get stuck into treatment way before I can get an appointment and script from my Dr.
Cheers
