They know the drug. Eliquis does not cause leg pain. It is safe for most everyone, and tolerated well. Statins, on the other hand, are not universally tolerated, and the same applies to anti-arrhythmic drugs.

You may have vasculitis, vascular disease, stenosis, peripheral neuropathy, etc., and you should be checked out....in my opinion. IOW, I don't understand why your symptoms are being dismissed. You may need to go to emerg to get better and more urgent care.

I'm not an expert in any of this, but my understanding is that a clot in the legs can be very painful, and usually is accompanied by redness, swelling...not always pain. My sister-in-law's mum had a blood clot in her leg and it was only noticed because of the redness and swelling locally...not pain so much.
