Welcome @ccorn, I had a blood clot in my right leg followed by a POE in my lungs not quite 2 years ago. I'm still on Eliquis but it's down to 2.5 mg twice daily. I haven't experienced the leg pain you mentioned but I think I might seek a second opinion if my doctor dismissed my concerns. Here's some information I found that may be helpful:

"Can Eliquis make your legs hurt?
Having certain spinal procedures during Eliquis treatment may increase the risk of blood clots in your spine. Symptoms of blood clots in your spine include: numbness or weakness in your legs. tingling."

Have you thought about getting a second opinion?

Hi John,
Thank you very much for your time in your reply. I've asked several Dr's and since it's a blood clot they don't want to discontinue this early and would like to continue for another month. They are all saying the samething. The tingling, numbing, extreme pain is concerning and just hope it's not long term damage.
Thank you very much again
