Hello! myself I was just diagnosed with fibromyalgia the past summer and diabetic neuropathy and MGUS. I have had blood tests, bone marrow biopsy and hopefully I will get a low dose fully body CT scan soon to get more answers. I have been experiencing pain in my hands, feet, shoulders, neck and thighs for years now. At first I just thought it was just sore muscles from not enough exercise. But the pain and stiffness seems to be getting worse. I felt like I was just falling apart at just in my late 40s. Now I was given gabapentin for pain but it made me so sleepy and dizzy that I couldn’t function on that medication so my orthopedic doctor told me to stop taking it. Now I just take Tylenol and ibuprofen for pain management. I do physical therapy to help me but I still struggle with lots of pain and swelling in areas. I am working on researching more info on fibromyalgia and that’s why I joined this group. I wanted to hear other people’s experiences and learn and share info about fibromyalgia.

Can anyone tell me if you also have a hard time sleeping?

What are some ideas or suggestions to help deal with the pain and lack of sleep?

what exercises are recommended to help with pain management?

Are there any specific natural remedies or medications that would be helpful for pain management?

There is a patch called Wellamoon that has helped me with insomnia from fibromyalgia. I don’t have a problem falling asleep, it’s staying asleep.
Check with your pharmacist and Dr first to ensure there are no complications for you.

I definitely feel your pain. Sometimes almost nothing works to sleep better but I found for me. I tried to go to bed around 10:30 if I take Tylenol about 2 hours before bed and then I take her chew a gummy 10 mg 5 CBD 5-T HC about an hour before bed. I use a sound machine, but I also use my calm app. Sometimes to hear a sleep story, sometimes to do a meditation. You kind of have to feel your way through and see what your body is responding to.
