@gently

@mary1951, I'm a little jealous because I crave salt, but I'll tell you my dxa anyway.
I was -3.3 in the spine from 2017 to 2023. In 2024 a little over a year on Forteo I'm at -2.8 in the spine. My hips are essentially unchanged. though I lost a point in my left, and gained one in my right. -2.9 on the left to -3.0 right 2.6 to 2.5
TBS adjusted fracture risk
Major 15% in 2023 to 13% and 12% in 2024
I'm content with the changes. My expectations are for the third year. And I feel so safe on this medication.
I suspect it will go very well for you. Tymlos has a stronger effect and most patients have better results than my on Forteo.

@gently, that is a very good improvement! Yes, if two years of this lowers my fraction risk I will be very happy.

My PCP's wife took Forteo, and he recommended it highly for me. But the endocrinologist recommended Tymlos for me, so I suspect there's a reason.

Thank-you for your response. The people on this site are so helpful!
